AI & Automation Lead
WWF-UK's first AI & Automation Lead: owns the roadmap, picks and runs pilots, sets up governance and trains colleagues so AI and automation are used safely across the charity.
A practical way into a non-technical AI role is to start from the job you already do. Use AI tools regularly in your current role, lead something small such as training your team or automating a process, measure what changed, and then apply for AI enablement, adoption, transformation or automation roles with that evidence. Roles where AI is written into a familiar job, such as an operations manager leading a Copilot rollout, are usually the easiest first step.
See the glossary for titles that mean the same job.
These roles sit across the business: central AI teams, transformation offices, L&D, operations and individual departments. The job ads on this site show where each employer puts them.
Yes. The roles on this site are about rolling out and using AI tools. Employers ask for change, training, operations or programme experience, plus confidence with the tools.
Volunteer to be an AI champion or run AI training in your current team, and keep a record of what it changed.
