Senior AI Acceleration and Adoption Lead
Owns AI training and adoption for the law firm's business services teams in London, Europe and Asia, as the in-house expert on tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude and Harvey.
To hire an AI enablement lead, first decide whether you need someone to get staff using AI tools (enablement or adoption) or someone to redesign processes (transformation). Then write an ad that names the tools, the people they will train, how success will be measured, who the role reports to and the pay. Advertise it on your own careers site and on job boards that people in this field read. Of the 58 live UK roles on this site, we found 29 on the employer's own careers site and 29 on Reed. In interviews, ask for evidence of people trained and usage that went up.
Start from the problem. If you have bought tools such as Microsoft Copilot and staff aren't using them, you need an AI enablement or adoption lead. If you want to change how a process or a department works, you need an AI transformation manager. If you want someone to build automations, look at AI automation roles. How the three main titles differ.
Be specific about the tools, the people, the measures and the pay. Many ads leave these out. We read the 18 live AI enablement and adoption ads on this site that had full text on 24 Oct 2026: 12 named the AI tools, 11 said how success would be measured, 8 stated pay and 4 said who the role reports to. Our AI adoption lead job description guide has the full checklist and a template.

Put AI and the kind of work in the title, for example AI Adoption Lead. 43 of the 58 live roles on this site have AI in the job title. You can also send us the role: listing on Second Wave AI Jobs is free during launch, and we link straight to your own ad. Post a job.
The ads we list put it in different places. Unity Advisory's AI Enablement Lead reports to the Chief People Officer and the Chief AI Officer. OMERS' AI enablement and adoption associate reports into its AI Transformation Office, and the Care Inspectorate's AI Change Lead reports to its Head of IT Service Delivery. Whichever you choose, say it in the ad. The role needs time with IT, security, legal and HR.
Decide whether you need adoption or transformation, write an ad that names the tools, the people, the measures, the reporting line and the pay, advertise on your careers site and specialist boards, and ask candidates for evidence of people trained and usage that went up.

Usually not. Of the 18 enablement and adoption ads we read, 2 asked for coding or building with APIs. The others ask for training, change and communication skills and confidence with the tools.
Both appear in the ads we list. Some are fixed-term: OMERS advertised a 4-month contract, and the National Wealth Fund and the Care Inspectorate 12-month contracts. A permanent role makes more sense if the work will carry on after the first rollout.
